Your Health and Cargo Facts Asia
Now in its ninth year, Cargo Facts Asia is a crucial forum for air cargo opportunities in the Asian market. To address the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) that began in December 2019, Cargo Facts Asia has moved to Singapore.
Additionally, we will remain vigilant about the health of our attendees in our new location during the conference.
Based on advisories from the US Center for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html), among the precautions we will take are:
Provide ample alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol throughout the event site;
Provide ample tissues for use during the conference; and
Screen attendees for health matters upon check in.
The CDC emphasizes that “everyday preventative actions” will help prevent the spread of virus. These actions include:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
If you are sick on the days of the conference, we ask that you please stay home. We plan to ask attendees upon registration whether they feel sick or have recently been sick. If the answer is “yes,” we will kindly ask you not to attend that day’s sessions.
We can all work together to engage in “everyday preventative actions” and still present Cargo Facts Asia, which offers a vital forum for the industry to pursue air cargo opportunities in the Asian market.
